Meet Lina
Lina is a mural artist and interior designer whose work has covered the walls of some of Canada's most recognisable spaces. Her drawings start on paper and end on plaster, on print, and on the walls of flagship stores — always by hand, always in ink.
InkScape Studio is the extension of that practice: the same hand-drawn line, finished in antique gold and printed to order, so the work that once lived only on a client's wall can now live in yours.
Beginnings
Drawing Walls in the UK
Lina started as a mural artist and interior designer in the UK, painting walls by hand long before she ever printed one. Every commission began the same way — a blank plaster wall, a pot of ink, and a drawing worked out directly onto the surface, line by line.
Those early years taught her the discipline the studio still runs on today: that a motif only earns its place once the weight of line, the rhythm of the repeat and the breath of negative space have all been settled by hand.
The Move
A New Chapter in Canada
Lina brought that craft across the Atlantic and rebuilt the business in Canada. Murals led to signage, signage led to full interior graphics, and word travelled — first through hospitality, then through retail, then through the corporate spaces that wanted the same hand-drawn warmth on their own walls.
What had been a single artist with a brush became a studio: a team that could take a hand-drawn idea and scale it across a flagship store, a headquarters, or a whole chain of restaurants without losing the line that made it worth drawing in the first place.
